WordPress alternative: MyStarterBlog

Many are using WordPress for their secondary blogs. Of course, this also bring a number of issues that are boring. I have found a alternative to WordPress: MyStarterBlog

So, what so boring in using WordPress with a secondary blog?

You must setup a MySQL Database

This ould be areal issue for you depending on your skills and your host. Some host might have a limit on the number of MySQL database in your domain. This become a non issue since MyStarterBlog doesn’t use any databased on the server. Once you have generated the blog, you only need t uploade those files on your domain. If you decide to move to another hosting company, you just need to upload the files there.

Wordpress use a backend

Of course, it’s an advantage but also a security risk. With WordPress, you will need to update your blog often. Since MyStarterBlog does not use a backend, you won’t have that issue. So, you just need to upload 200KB for a generated blog versus 4000KB for your first installation/update of WordPress. You only need to uplaod a few files when you publish a new post.

SEO optimized is not WordPress strong advantage

WordPress used numbered post for permalink by default. The themes that comes with MyStarterBlog are SEO optimized and use worded permailink to save that step to the user.

That’s just the beginning with secondary blogs even if I use Wordpress!
