Map To Get Free Traffic from About.com
This is first post of my “Map To” article series where I will explain about any trick on how to get traffic, SEO, internet marketing idea and etc.
About.com is an online source for original information and advice, and is among the top 15 US Websites (Nielsen Online Spring 2008). It is written in English, and is aimed primarily at North Americans. It is owned by The New York Times Company. [Wikipedia].
With AlexaRank 87 and Google PageRank 8, About.com is an authority site accessed by thousands people per day, a great site to get free traffic.
In the map above, you can see there are two ways to leak their traffic to our blog, first using comment, find a blog in About.com with content related to our blog, leave a comment in there, and make sure it is a good comment.
Second, join their forum, create user name containing our targeted keywords, be active in the forum, and don’t forget to put link to our site in the signature. Again, only join forum which is related to our niche.
There are no new tactics in here, we can do the same to almost every site, but About.com as an authority site, has a bunch of visitor, that what make it different.
